    Science Technician (Physics)


    From September 2024. Term-Time Only + 3 weeks (Including Inset Days) 37 hours 8.00am - 4.00pm (Mon - Thursday) 8.00am - 3.30pm (Friday) Salary Grade 5 SCP 5 Actual salary £21,837 (FTE: £23,500)


    We are seeking to appoint a Science Technician to cover Physics but also to support other subject areas, in our high achieving Science Department. Experience of working in a scientific environment is desirable but not essential as training will be given.

    This would suit an individual with a good basic science knowledge, that likes working as a part of a team, whilst specifically supporting the physics department and has a practical “can do” approach. The ability to respond to a flexible working environment with tight deadlines is essential.

    The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and paid annual leave entitlement for an employee under 5 years’ service.
